5mm RGB LED – Common Anode
Three LEDs (red, green, blue) in one 5mm package with a shared anode. The longest leg goes to +5V (or 3.3V); each colour lights when its pin is pulled LOW, so PWM values are inverted.
Specifications:
- 5mm, 4 pins, common anode (+)
- Forward voltage: red ≈ 2.0V, green/blue ≈ 3.0V
- 20mA per colour (one resistor per colour leg)
Great for: colour mixing with Arduino, and learning sinking vs sourcing current.
